I’m Caitlin Doherty and I’m a Mindful Movement Witch. I help people who have been left out of traditional wellness spaces learn to connect with their bodies again, and bring more of what they want into their lives.

I lead group and one-on-one Mindful Movement for Misfits sessions for you to gently move your body, connect to yourself and others and practice care on your terms, just as you are. Because you’re good right now and you don’t have to “fix” anything to care for yourself.

I use gentle movement, somatic awareness and mindfulness practices to help you find a home within your body, manage stress and live more joyfully without wasting time, money and energy on the empty promises that have been sold to you.

​How is Mindful Movement for Misfits different from a Western yoga practice?

​
  • There is not a pre-determined set of postures done on a mat. You are encouraged to intuitively move around your space, fidget, shake, create and explore your body without restrictions.
  • It can be done wherever you are, in any body and during any phase of life.
  • It explores many modalities of movement and mindfulness including mindfulness meditation, somatic awareness, self massage, intuitive movement and more.
  • It is it's own modern methodology based in movement exploration, nervous system regulation and mind-body investigation that allows you to delve into all of the layers of yourself, even the unconscious parts.
